AN ASHBURTON CASE.

Ashburton, last night. At the Magistrate’s Court Peroy Earcourt, cellarman at the Eclipse brewery, Sydenham, was charged with delivering a keg of beer, being aware it was being taken to a no-licenße district, without attaching a statement that the keg contained spirituous liquor. He was also charged with failing to notify the authorities of the sale. A fine of 40s wa3 imposed on one charge and a conviction to be the other. ’TV
