GISBORNE BOWLING CLUB, There was a fairly large attendance at the Gisborne Bowling Club green yesterday afternoon, and several interesting matches took place. The teams selected for tho Wellington tournament in January met two strong rinks from the Club, and a keenly-contested game resulted in favor of tho representatives by 38 to 32. The membership of tho club has been greatly augmented sinco its inauguration, and the new members should prove a sourco of strength to the club. Amongst the new members are Messrs F, J, Jeune, E. P. Joyce, T. Holdeu, M. Morgan* A. P. Hailey, L. Clayton, C. Morse, M. G. Nasmith (juo), McShiuuioy, QD d A, Sawyer. Every aftertoon and ovenirig'* tho members may bo scon puttiog in good practice, and tho enthusiasm displayed augurs well ter the success of the club. Yesterday afternoon several rinks were played. In the fours match both teams wore level on the fifth head (8 all), but from this out Sheet's team were unable to find tho jack, Tho soores were : Kird Bennett Earle Morse Gallam Martin, J.
