MR LYSNAR’S MEETING
[(To the Editor Gisborne Times* Sir, —In your report in Saturday morning’s issue of Mr Lysnar’s meeting it would appear he tried to hold me up to contempt. I once crossed swords with him when I was an officer of the Mutual Improvement. On that occasion his personal abuse brought Canon Webb to his feet to protest. To expect snoh a person as;Mr L. to have respect for anyone is of itself quite absurd. The exhibition he made of egotism, gross personalities, constant repetition and misrepresentation on above-named ocoasion caused me do j resolve never to 'waste time again in luteniogto such trash.—l am, e’c..
