The first wool sale of the season opened here la3t night, whon 6000 bales were offered. Bradford, Continental, Amertoan and colonial buyers were represented. Bidding was brisk, espeoia’ly for wool fit for the American markot, and good prices were obtained, top price, this being paid for half-bred. The range of prices was as follows : Half-bred ehoiee 121 to 12Jd, super lid to 11-Jd, medium 10£d to
lid, inferior 9£d to 10£d, three-quarter brad ohoice lljd to lljjd, super IOJd to ll£d, medium 9ijd to fine crossbreds lOd So IOJd, coarso B£d to 9:}d, Merino (only a few bales forward) 9d to 9^d.
