On the Bradford wool market there is a slow sale, and prioes are weak. Forties !6d, 46’s 17£d, oommon 60’s 24fd, Buper 25Jd. Tbe buttor market is firm. Danish is unchanged. Choicest Australian 110 sto 112 s per owt, few lotß 114 s. Now Zealand 112 sto 114 s. There is a better demand for secondaries, whioh are improving in quality. Wheat: Tho Continental markets are steady, with a good demand. Tho English are dull, aud are weakening, owing to heavy shipments from Russia, and good orop reports from Australia and Argentine. Cargoes are neglected. January ebipment is offered at 83s to 88s fid, buyers not responding. New Zealand on spot is scaroe; long berried 80s 6d to 31s fid, short berried 80s to 31s.

Potatoes are still ooming forward in small lots, for which £l2 is being paid; and the oheapening effect of new potatoes is likely to prevent a further advance in those out of pit. The local wheat market is very firm, but beyond a few lots being cleared out of store to moke room for won), there is little offering. There is a ready sale for whatever is submitted. - Oats are very scarce, aud firm.
