VOTE LIKE THIS: I HIE THAT THE MINDER BF LICENSES EXISTIRD IN THE DISTRICT CORTINUE. HOW TO VOTE !
REASONS 1. No-license is an invasion of the natural rights .of the individua', and therefore means a great inju-tice to many. 2. Wherever Prohibition has been tried in tho United Bta f es or Canada, it has led to f>r greater evils than those it rought to remove— sly grog shops, lying, e»a« sion, lawlessness, increased drunkenness, and other evils. 3. If No lioense is carried every hotel, wholesale house, bottle licensee, and olub v ould be elosed up, and no liquor be sold or bought. 4. If you buy liquor e'sewhere, the seller must be notified that is to be stnt or taken into your district, and your name and address be given to him. 5. Tho person who selisthe liquor would have to give your narne and address and the quantity aod quality oi- the liquor Bold to the Clerk of the Magistrate’s Court. 6. For a breaoh of the law you would be liable to a penalty of £2O, and fora seoond breach to a penalty of £SO, or a term of imprisonment. 8- On suspio'on that a wineglassful is sold, any house may be raided by the police, any liquor found therein will be seized, and the person whose house is raided would have to satisfy the Magistrate that he had not sold liquor. Failing to do this, whi-ih would be very difiioult, he would be sentenced to a heavy fine-or term of imprisonment. CAN ANY* ’ LAW BE MORE UNJUST? : THIS IS NO-LICENSE.
