DEATH OF MR MOCOVILLE

An old aid ret-piit d r aidert of the district, Mr Miobael MoConvilie, passed away at his residence, Ivaiti, shortly after 830 last evening. D.-cers-d was 68 years of age, and had been in failing health for about a week, aDd the end came very suddenly. Mr MoConvilie was welh known as chief engineer for the U.S.S. Company’s passenger tenders for a great many years, his genial disposition making him a great favorite. He was ono of the oldest Druids in the district. He leaves a widow and a family pf twelve, for whom the deepest sympathy is fejt.
