(Special to Times)* Dunedin, last night.

Mr W. D. Lyanar baa been through Baiolntha and Gore, investigating the effect of prohibition there. He has collected a quantity of faots and Information on the matter, and intends using them on his return. He says it is absurd to say there is prohibition in these placss, but no-lioenße, which enables the young and old alike to get all they require, and unquestionably the greatest blot on the soscalled reform is the facilities and encouragement it gives to private drunkenness.
