Frasertown: To be informed that , the Department has voted £223 towards enlarging the sohool, the work to be done in time for the opening after the holidays. Gisborne: Miss Rangi was appointed mistress. An application for repairs to the caretaker’s house was held over for enquiry.
Matawhero: No aotion was taken in regard to the erection of a teacher’s residence.
Mangapapa: Miss Morgan was granted two months' leave of absence. Te Arai: £4 was voted towards the creation of a wash-house.
Tolago Bay : Request for a shelter shed granted. Tokomaru: Alterations to be effected. Waimata: Application to be made to Department for £lO rent allowance. The tender of Smith and Black, £4395, was aooepted for tbe erootion of tbe new sohool at Gisborne in brick, with oonorete facings.
