To the Editor Gisborne Times.
Sir,—At a meeting of the different unions held on Monday evening lam reported to have said that " workers were getting fair play, but that the difficulty wa9 to oarry out the awards,” This 1 flatly deny, as no each words escaped my lips. On the. contrary, what I did say was exaotly the opposite as regards workers getting fair play.—l am, etc., ROBERT ALLEN,
