Reoeived 12 88 a.m., Nov 8. . Berlin, Nov 2. News has boon reoeived that Colonel Sommorn hud an extromely sovere fight with 400 natives under the ohief Marengo, near Hartbsostemund. Ultimately ibe natives withdrew, but were not pursued. It is roportod they lost heavily. Three Gorman officers and 18 soldiers were killed; three offioors and 18 men were sovorely wounded, and 18 were Bligbtly wounded ; five are missing. Reports show that Hindrik Wiraboi was expelled from tbe water holes at Aminius by the BJriis, abandoning 850 women and ohildron, who nearly died oi thirst. 1 >
