MONTHLY MEETING.

The monthly meeting of the Hospital Trustees was held yesterday, when there were present:—Messrs J. W. Nolan (obaitman), Joyce, Gray, Harding, Tuoby, and Captain Tucker. Dr DeLisle wrote in referenoe to annexes for oonsumptives and aoute infeo* tious diseases. It was safer to treat he latter elsewhere than in the Hospital grounds, but the former could be treated in oooneotion with the Hospital. He for warded plans for shelter for oonsumptives whioh he had received from the head office, who were prepared to supply plans for infectious hospitals. The Chairman said he had seen the writer in Napier and had mentioned the Waikahae beaoh e,s a site for an infectious disease ward. Dr DeLisle considered this site most suitable. , , , ' , Dr Morrison stated that he had received A letter from Dr Ya'intine, who agreed with him that tho iofeotious disease ward should not be in the Hospital grounds.
