PRISONERS ESCAPE.

' Ohristeharoh, last night. Two prisoners who were serving their sentences at Hanmer prison camp, esoaped either late last night or early this mornjog. The polioe and some of the prison warctars scouted tbo country around the camp to-day, but failed to find any trace of the escapees. One of the men is Leonard Willis, who was sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment on .Tune Bth last, aod the other is James Lyndhurst, who also received a 12 months’ sentenoa on August 301 b. Both men were wearing prison clothes at the time of their esoape, with the exoeption of hats.
