IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
By telegraph. Press Ass’n, Copyright New York, Oet. 25. Mr Randolf, consulting engineer of the Panama Canal, expects the work to be completed in 1915. One hundred ana twenty-four thousand workers will be required. An adoption of the eight hours system would increase tho cost one-fourth. Thirty million dollars worth of Frenon machinery on the works is worthless.
