A ROTORUA SENSATION.
MAN SHOOTS ANOTHER WITH ,A PEA RIFLE.
(Per Press Association.) Rotorua, last nigh*. A man named Andrew Campbell, pro* prietor of the Edinburg boarding house gave himself up to the police at 7 o’clock to night, statiug that he had shot a mao named Hislop. He had gone to Campbell's houso about 7 o’clock, and on Campbell seeing him he ordered him away. Hislop net immediately obeying, Campbell procured a pea-rifle, and said he would give him the contonts, and forthwith fired. The bullot entered the forehead, coming out of the top of the head. Hislop got to the footpath, where he was found by .the police insensible. He was removed to the sanatorium, and is being attended to by Dr Woblmann. Campbell is in oharge of the police.

Information was received in town tonight from Rotorua that Wm. Campbell, proprietor of the Edinburgh boardinghouse at that place, bad shot Robert Hislop in tbe head at 6.45 to-night, and had then given himself up to the police. Hislop was removed to the Sanatorium, and the doctors consider his case critical. Campbell states that Hislop annoyed him very much of late, and had a'so insulted his wife.
