Butter is quiet. Danish 120 s, choicest colonial 112 s, and a few lots 114 s. Small supplies enable prioes to be maintained, though demand is poor. Sugar is dull. First mark granulated, f.0.b., Hamburg, 4d lower at 10s 4d per owt; German beet, 88deg., 5d lower at 8s 4d.
Bradford tops: The market is quiet, with modorate turnover. Common 60’®, 25}d; super 60’s, 26*d.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London office:— 11 Frozen meat market continues weak at a further decline. Sines our last telegram New Zealand orossbred mutton prioes are lower by l-8d per lb. New Zealand crossbred lambs is lower by l-8d to £d per lb. Frozen beef prices are firm. We quote: New Zealand beef, ox binds, 180!b-2201b, f.a.q., B|d to 3gd per lb, force 2|d lb."
