UNION v. UNITED. The rnatoh botweon Union and United Cricket Clubs took plaoo yesterday aftornoon on the Victoria Domain. Lang won the toFs from Hallamora and decided to bat. Soma very good batting took place, M. Bhoridan tnak'ng 81, Harkor 24, O’Hara 16, Ferris 16 and Davis 11. The Innings olosed for 109. The United, with the exooption of Hal!amorej[(22), batted feebly to tbo bowling of Torking, who took 8 wickets for 9 runs, and were all out for 86 runs. Following on they make a bettor stand. Hallamore was again top score w th a well played 41, Rutledge being next with 10. The inniogs eloeed for 88, leaving Union 6 runs to get to win, and the matoh ended in a victory for Union by 8 wickets. ' The scores wore : UNION.
