; Yielding to the request of leading members of tbe profession and others of distinction, including very high personages, Dr. Robinson, Dean of Westminster, has consented to Sir Henry Irving’s body being buried in the Abbey on Friday, probably near Garrick’s resting place. .The theatres do not close, in deferenoe to' Sir Henry Irving’s known wishes. The Prinoe and Prinoesß of Wales condoling with Sir Henry Irving’s family, hoped that the universal sorrow exhibited would prove some degree of comfort.

Baroness Burdett Goutts has offered her Piccadilly Houbb for the purposes of the funeral.
