Sir, —With regard to the first portion of Mr Lysnßr’s letter—which we presume he wrote after his discussion with Mr Wall and his backer on Saturday at the corner of Peel street and Gladstone Road—re Mr Clayton’s tactics. If we did not know him eo well wo should be anxious to ascertain who was telling the truth, the Press of Ootober 10th or Mr Lysnar. His reference to Mr Clayton’s quotation from Hansard is a quibble that only a lawyer would attempt to put before the publio. Having read the Publio Revenues’ Act for myself, my pals and I are quite satisfied to stand by Mr Clayton’s interpretation rather than by Mr Lysnar’a legal opinion.—l am, Sir, your etc., BUSH.LAWXER,
