At a meeting of tbo North Canterbury Exeoutive of the Farmers’ Union yesterday, Mr Heir, representing P. and D. The following motion was adopted: “That the proposals of the implement manufacturers cumunc id themselves to the favorable consideration of the Executive, but under a.tsred circumstances. We cannot take definite aciion until the proposals ore further considered." The disotmion was consequently adjourned. The president and Mr G. W. Deadly were appointed delegates in the event of a conference being held before next meeting of the Executive.
