(Special to Gisborne Times.) Wellington, last night. An announooment on the subject of wireless telegraphy was made in the House yesterday by the PostmasterGeneral. The application of wireless telegraphy to tbe outlying islands of New Zea'and, he said, had been under consideration, “ and I am keeping in touch with the latest developments. There is no official intimation that an engineer of the Marooni Company is visiting Now Zealand. If a properly accredited offioial docs I oomo advantage will be taken of his visit to obtain better knowledge of the Marooni system. The Government considor this up-to-date means of communication I should be establiehod between New Zealand and Australia, and I hope something practical iu this direction will be done later ou.” I
