ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
SUPPOSED MURDER.
(Per Press Association,) a o - , Auckland, last night. A Scotchman, named Alexander Morrison, a wharf laborer, aged 48, was found unconscious on Tuesday night, and died in i ii £!' al n'ght a fractured skull. The police believe the man was the victim of a violent assault. He was anparently sober when found. P An old man named George Fletcher aged 76, was found dead this morning by the Onohuoga stationmaster as he was walking down from Penrose to Onehunga, near the oatlle-stop. His back was broken and lacerated. There was no explanation except that he fell off the train last night, or was hit by the cow-catcher and thrown on one side of the line.
Hastings, last night. A young woman named Amelia Connelly, Bged 20, died last night.
