The Taglische and Rundschau have roceived assurances from London that Le Matin’s story is an invention, but many German newspapers invite Lord Lensdowno to msko a statement. Professor Sobiomann, in the Kruez Zeitung, argues that the despatch of the Channel floet to tho Baltio was part of Britain’s support to France.
