ENGLISHMAN HELD FOR RANSOM
By telegraph, Press Ass'n, Copyright Constantinople, Oot. 10. Brigands ,who captured Mr Wells, an Englishman, in July, sent one of his ears to the British Counsel at Monastir, threatening his death unless a ransom of isOOO was paid by tho 14th.
