STOLEN GOODS.
(Per Press Association.) . Auckland, last night. I Charles Zainey, an Assyrian, was charged at the Police Court withhaviog Xivcd goods from William Warren valued at <£7o, knowing the same to have 'been dishonestly obtained. Z»mey was » witness in a case in whioh William War ren and Norman Ptaoy Warren wore com-1 mitted for sentence on a charge of having stolen the goods from Messrs R. H. Abbott and Co.’s warehouse. Afier bearing the statements of Beveral witnesses the Magistrate said ho did not think the evidenoe for the prosecution was sufficient to conviot, and therefore he discharged the aooaaed.
