LARRIKIN FOOTBALLERS
(Per Press 'Association.) Palmerston North, last night. The Rugby Union to-night decided to suspend thirteen players of the representative team which recently visited Wellington, until a satisfactory explanation of alleged miscondact on the part of somo of their number at an hotel is forthcoming. Several of the men appeared before the officials of the union to-night, and expressed themselves ignorant of the charges. An offioial of the nnion was delegated to proceed to Wellington to make enquiries. The landlady of the hotel claims £5 as damages to furniture, and says : “ Pen and ink cannot describe the way in which they oonduoted themselves, ■ although I thick three or four caused all the trouble."
