[(Pec Press 'Association.! Blenheim, last night. The total for the 23rd week of the Now Zealand egg-laying competition is 2781, making the grand aggregate 88,636, and the average * 27.31 eggs per pen. The highest layiog during tbe week was 35, which nnmber was returned by Mr Leget’s pen from Levin, Mr Shaw’s pen from Blenheim, and the Marlborough A. and P, Association's pen—all these consisting of white Leghorns. In tbe aggregate Mr Leger leads with 665, Mr Brooks’ white Leghorns from South Australia second with 615, A. and P. Association 546, Mr Hockey’s pen from Nelson 539. There' are 75 hens in the broody pen.
