The weekly official review of the pro* gresa of the New Zealand International Exhibition states that the Government of Natal propose to make an exhibit of the produots of that oonntry, and to appoint a commissioner to represent the colony of Natal at the Exhibition. The estimated oosl of the undertaking is £ISOO. At a meeting cf the natural history oommittee it was deolded to ask the Tourist Department if it was possible to obtain livehuias, tuis, wekas, add other native birds, and make an exhibit of them, and also to ask the Marine Department if they can see their way to make a special exhibit anddisplay of fish at the Exhibition. A letter was reoeived from the British Legation at Tokio, in which the Minister undertakes to oommunioate with the Japanese Government on the subject of the Exhibition, and also to do all iru his power to contribute to the success of the undertaking. The British Consul at Copenhagen has undertaken to have oopies of an official notioe of the Exhibition distributed, and also to give the widest publicity of the Exhibition to all concerned within his Consulate. . The Minister of Railways agreed to construct and lay a siding, for goods traffic only, into'the Exhibition grounds. It was deoided to wait npon the Chairman of. the Tramway Board and discuss tbs. matter of a tramway line to the Exhibition grouads. Flans and specifications of the art gallery are in a forward state, and tenders will be iavitsd almost immediately. The building is to be of brick, and Will be absolutely fire proof.
