At the inquest on Walter Hasketb, wls died on Saturday in the hospital from i fractured skull, caused by a log of totan falling on him while loading timber intoi dray, the verdict was aooidental death.
Wellington, last night. James MoEwon, a single mao, aged 5 years, was handling a revolver on Saturdt night, when a cartridge exploded. ITh bullet entered the man’s right cheek nos the mouth. He was taken to the hospitil and died four hours afior the occurrence Deceased was a recent arrival from Nen South Wales.
