SUICIDES

(Per Press Association.) Auokland, last night. * A resident of Dnrham Street, named Charles Burienshaw, was found in the Domain by an employee of the Kauri Timber Company with his throat cut almost from ear to ear. The unfortunate man was quite dead. A razor was found alongside tbe body and had evidently been the instrument used. There were no papers, or in faot anything to show tbe reason of the snicide.

Cbristohurcb, last night. At the inquest on the Chinaman who haDged himself in the Lyttelton gaol ou Thursday night medioal evidence was given tbat deceased bad committed suicide while in a fit of brooding depression. A verdict was returned accordingly.
