WOOL BUYERS.

JAPAN LIKELY TO BE BEST CUSTOMER.

By, telegraph, Press Aes’n, Copyriglv

Received 12.66 a.tn., Sept 28.

Sydney, Sept 27.

Dr Otake, director of the Sodju Woollen Mills at Tokio, is at present in Sydnoy. He Btates that Japan is likely in tho near future to be the best customer of Australia in the matter of wool. They used to buy in London, but lately had been making most of their purchases in Australia. They had been buying Indian and Chinose wools, but these were of poor quality, and would no doubt be replaced by Australian wools.
