GELIGNIITE EXPLOSION.
A MINER INJURED.
'(Per Press Association.) Themea, last night.
An ncoldent occurred in the Victoria mine to-day. Two minors named Addiooal and Babe wore working in the face of a drive. A boro drilled wita shot was put in, and it is presumed that Addicoat was shoving one cbargo of goliguite home when it exploded, blowing off portions ov bis hand and injuring him about the head and eyes. Tho band will bo savod, while the sight was not injured. Babe, who was some distance back, oscaped unhurt. Addiooal’s esoapo from death was nothing short of marvellous.
