MAR&ROA IN FURIOUS GALE.

The Union Company’s Btenmer Maratoa, whioh arrived to-day from Sydney, had a very rough haudliDg on the trip,. A furious gale raged during the passage, the decks being continually flooded. On Monday last a sea broke clean, over the bridge. When off Terawhiti this morning two port holos wero burst, and the ship had to be hove to while the damage was repaired.
