ALLEGED SHORTAGE.
MEREST OF A TOWN CLERK. ;(Per Press Association.) Marton, last night. E. H. Daniels, town clerk of Marton, has been arrested on a charge of misappropriating the funds of the corporation. Ho was brought before the Marton Court and remanded to Wanganui. It is stated that the amount Involved is about £7OO.
