.(Per P*ess Association.) Nelson, last night. Two young moD, brothers, named Grooby, made an expedition to Mount Arthur tableland, and returning lost their way ia a fog. In making a fire one used his powder flask, but the powder explod ing ths flask cut a fearful gash in his throat, and burnt his faco and eyelids. After five hours’ walk in the dark they reached the residence of a settler, Mr F. Holder, in an exhausted state. Reginald Grooby’a clothes were saturßtsd with blood. Mr Holder drove them into Motueka, where the injured lad is reported to be doing well.
