FOOTBALL.
TO-DAY’S MATCH. It has boon a most noticeable fact the increased interest taken in local football matches towards tbe end of the season, and although cup matches of the Rugby Union have dosed, the friendly matoh taking place at the Victoria Domain today, botwoen teams representing tbe employees of Mr W. 0. Skeet and Messrs Mackroll and Colley, seems to be no exception to tbe rule. Both fit ms are putting exceptionally good trains in tho field, bo i spectators may look forward to a wellcontested game. Tho proceeds are to be devoted to a good object, in supplying eoating accommodation at the Domain, the Rugby Union subsidising ?he amount equally. One of tho local bands, has kindly consented to march and play up I Gladstone road, and also to contribute a few selections in the DomaiD. The teams aro as followsl W. 0. Skeet'a Employees.
