BZ telegraph, Press Ass’n, Copyright Paris, Sept. 18. In view of Franco-German relations, the Kaiaer’a reference to the Eighth Army Corps as a frontier corps appearing on parade in marching order like a ship cleared for action is regarded in Franoe as bellicose in tone, despite the apparently amicable progress of the Moroooan negotiations.
It is believed ia Paris that Germany will ooneent to tbs Moroccan conference being held either at Madrid or Algiers. Brisbane, Sept. 14. The Premier, in a speech, said the Im perial Government had made representations with regard to Japanese being ineligible to avail themselves of tho Agricultural Bank Act. The Japanese took exception to being differently treated to the natives of any other civilised Power, and asked that the disqualification should apply equally to all aliens o: be removed as far as tho. Japanese were concerned. The Premier said he understood a similar communication had keen received by the Federal Goverement. The Queensland Government must pay respectful attention to the representations of the Imperial Government. He hoped that in future legislation it would be possible to protect the interests of the State without wounding tbo susceptibilities of the Japanese Government. ■/.' :
