Trumper, Howell, Nowlandi BOu Gehrs Bland out of the colonial team, Grace won the toss, and decided to bat. Hayward’s sooro was made in his usual skilful style, and was marked by free, driving bits.. Ho bit one six and . two fourers. Brannd and Sewell were oismissed by conseoutive balls. Crawford and Burt were each out first ball, ana JesßOp second ball. Tho fourth, , sixth wickets fell at 121.
