TE WHITI'S HUMBUG.
EUROPEANS TO BE EXTERMINATED. Te Whiti, the "Prophet" of Parikaka* according to latest reports, has recovered his health, and is, in faot, said to bo renewing bis youth, so hale and vigoorus has the veteran beoome. He is bright aud obeerful, and has taken up again his role of prophet, a part he has not played for some years! Te Whiti still retains his bitter feelings towards the pakeha generally, and the missionaries particularly, His latest prophecy, a gentleman who has just come down from the Paribaka district informed a Post representative, is to the effeot that all and missionaries are blackberries, and within a short time they would all be exterminated. Evidently Te Whiti. has been impressed with the agitation regarding noxious weeds, and has made a topical propheoy for the encouragement of his followers.
