. Auckland, last night. . A man entered Parnell post oflfioe at 6 o'clock last evening and Informed the lad in oharge that ho wished to inspeot the gas meter. Proceeding behind the counter, the man pulled out a drawer and grabbed the cash-box. The lad grappled with the man, who struck him to the floor, Jjht dropped the cash-box and escaped. The money wos scattered over the floor.
