Thomas White, aged 15£ years, employed by the Mornington Borough Council to oil pulleys along the borough cable tramway line, died to-day from injuries reoeived through being struck by a moving oar. White was down the man-hole in front of the car shed, and was apparently in the aot of rising when a ear whioh was being transferred from the np to the down line struck him. He was badly crashed about the chest and body, and died at 1 o’olook. '
