ARBITRATION COURT.
(Per Presa Association.) Orepuki, Sa'surday. The Arbitration Court opened here this morning, and further employees’ evidence was called emphasising the testimony given in the Invercargill compensation claim. Janet Broomball v. Southland Sawmilling Company was settled by an agreement for £240. Broomball was dismissed by the mill manager, but stayed in plaoe of another man for a few days. The head bushmen acquiesced, but the manager knew nothing of the agreement. Three days after Broomball was killed, and the liability of the company was a nice question. ,
