THE AUSTRALIAN TEAM.
[(Pet Presa Association.) Palmerston North, last night. The Australian football team arrived by the midday train to-day, and were met at the station by the Mayor and officials of the Manawatu Union. The Hawke’s Bay members of the combined team arrived yesterday. The visitors praotico on the show grounds this afternoon, and the officials of the New Zealand Rugby Union journeying with thorn state they are im- I proving in every game. The forward division of tho combined team averages a stone and a half heavier than the visitors.
