ANOTHER SENSATIONAL CHAPTER MAN GIVES FALSE EVIDENCE AND ALLEGES FORGERY. By telegraph, Press Ass’n, Copyright Received 10.46 p.m., Sept. 4. Sydney, Sept 4.
Before the Lands Commission Mr J. B. Stephens grve evidence that what purported to be his signature taking up a oertain lease was a forgery. He gave no authority to take it up, nor bad he paid any money in connection therewith. He declared that the evidenoe he gave when previously before the Commission was all false.
Hoskins, station manager for Willie, persuaded him to give false evidence.
