TWO INQUESTS.

Wellington, last night. At the inquest on John Price, killed through being knooked down by an electric [ car at tbe oornor of Cuba and Wobb streets, tho evidence showed that every oare was taken by the motorman. Deoeased appeared stupefied. He bad drawn his pension that day, and may have been drinking. The jury returned a verdiet that death was purely accidental, the motorman being commended for his promptitude in bringing the oar to a standstill. A rider waß added, reoommending to'the city council that Wobb street should be better lighted. Au inquest held yostorday concerning tho death of James Albert Reid, oarpenter, who fell from the verandah of a house in the course of ereotion. A verdiot of accidental death was returned. Deooased leaves a wife and one child.
