The eclipse of the eun was observed with clear atmosphere, at Tripoli. The shadow bands wore particularly fine. Tho oorona was evenly developed. There were no long streamers, Splendid observations were made at Guelos, Burgo, Bfax and Malta. Three new sunspots were noted at Washington. Four groups of sunspots of unusual size were seen at Cincinnati.
