An inquest was held to day concerning the death of Estella May Atkinson, aged twenty months, who died on Saturday night ae the result of shook from swallowing oaustio soda on Friday morning. The evidenoe showed that the mother and child had visited a relative's house, and the baby wandering into the wash-house swallowed a quantity of liquid oaustie soda. The child’s neck, lips, and month were badly burned, and she vomited blood, A verdiot that death was aooidental was returned.
