CHRISTCHURCH NEWS.
[(Per. Presa A'sacxjSa'ti'qn:.) ’ Christohurch, last night. A man named Hallman, employed on the Midland Railway Works, fell from a trolley whilst returning from the city yesterday. He was taken to the Staircase Gully Station, but died almost immediately. It is understood here that Josephs Petree wiil oontest the Grey seat in the Opposition interest, opposing the Speaker of the House.
