LATE NEW ZEALAND.
(Per Presa Association. 1 )’ Dunedin, last night. An enquiry was held to-day into the circumstances connected with the death of Jas. Green, who was thrown out of a buggy through the vehicle being struck by a tramoar. The accident happened on the Brd, and Mr Green appeared to be getting on well until the 7th, when erysipelas appeared. The cause of death was erysipelas, complicated by Bright’s disease. The evidence showed that the horse deceased was driving oast a shoe, and deceased was picking out the best part of the road, and driving on the wrong side. When the oar was close deceased attempted to cross to the right side, and the oar struck the hind wheels. The jury returned a verdict of aooidental death, no blame being attachable to anyone. At the criminal sittings Albert Pyle, obarged with theft from a dwelling at Roxburgh, was found not guilty, but there is a second charge again Bt him. Christohurch, last night.
