A ROUGH VOYAGE.

Sydney, Aug. 5. The ship Naiad, 91 days out from Liverpool, with a oargo of general merchandise, arrived at Sydney after an exceptionally trying voyage, and anchored in Watson’s Bay. Many sails were torn into shreds by the violenoe of the winds -and carried away, aod the rails onthe poop were bent and twisted into fantaatio shapes by the huge waves whioh broke on board, 'The lifeboat on the starboard side of the ship was washed out of the ohocks by one tremendous roller, wbioh broke on tbe decks, but with difficulty it was scoured. The deck fittings were damaged, and much of the riggiDg also Buffered. The seas swept from the forecastle head to the cabins, and every thing of a portable nature on the decks had to be scourely lashed down.
